The Best Dog Ever – RIP

by | Sep 23, 2016 | Random BS

We are heartbroken as our beloved Simba had to be put down after a tumor on his spleen ruptured and tumors were also discovered in his lungs. Rather than trying to come up with something new, here is what I posted to Facebook.

I normally go on Facebook once a year to thank everyone for their birthday wishes. This year I am adding one more post because of the profound impact Simba had on my life. He was such a good dog. I am grateful he didn’t suffer much and that because of Lisa Morafcik he had the best life. This is a picture of Simba laying on my chest, getting in my face and forcing me to pay attention to him. A Saturday and Sunday morning ritual. How can I not be thankful for having had this 88 pound heap of unwavering joy in my life? My life is better for it. He will be missed deeply but remembered with a smile on my face. Good boy, Simba!
