There aren’t that many days where Lisa doesn’t stop me from doing what I am doing to look at one of the dogs because they are being so adorable.
As one who likes his share of attention it’s been difficult coming to terms with the fact that I cannot compete when I am up against our dog, Spencer.
He is so well behaved 90% of the time. The other 10% he’s a little shit. He marks various areas of the brand new house as a way to show his distain for us leaving him behind when we go to work or go out.
His other favorite way to get into trouble is to stop people walking in front of the house and bark at them.
Other than that, I almost cannot stand how adorable he is. Check out these pictures and captions. Click on each one to make it bigger.
Comfort
Although he doesn’t quite fit, our love seat is, without question, his favorite place to relax.
Spencer’s Balls
Spencer loves tennis balls more than any other kind of toy or sports ball. We love to play keep away from him with a small, black and yellow Nerf – made for dogs. In this case, he won the game of keep away.
Poser
Sometimes we wonder if he was somehow trained to get into ridiculously adorable poses. In this picture he demonstrates his mad-skills at being adorable by relaxing with us outside and resting his head on my foot.
I Love You, Too
I like to think I am the apple of Lisa’s eye. Spencer frequently reminds me who’d be pulled out of a burning building first.
Peculiar Position – 1
I was preparing dinner one night. Spencer seemed restless but I was not paying much attention to him. The next thing I know he is sitting with his butt on the top of the back of the love seat. His paws are resting on the arm rest. He was perfectly comfortable.
Peculiar Position – 2
Here he is from the opposite side. He stayed there until we were done laughing and when we realized his anus was squarely on the head rest. We disinfected.
Buddies
Spencer and I have a special bond but, as seen here, nothing like the bond between him and Lisa.
